![]() What gains my attention throughout the game is the added dimension of space in which the action takes place. ![]() We are discovering together, I do not know what Twinsen has to do, he does not know what he has to do, together we blunder about looking for clues with exaggerated enthusiasm. Twinsen as the action hero is inexperienced, he always plays the novice. As a puppet he works very well with a choice of behaviours aggressive sees him with a "let me at 'em" attitude, in all modes he has an over zealous enthusiasm. Early on, the main character Twinsen won my affections. That is not to say that the computer graphics in LBA are disappointing - they are stunning "state of the art" graphics, albeit cartoon-like. By comparison it is a far more participatory activity the depth of the adventure is not so much in sensational visuals as in the complexity of the unfolding story that the player advances following through all the clues or loose ends in the narrative. Through LBA the expanding games market has successfully engaged my attention to compete with the time I spend watching TV. My game so far has terrained a single adventure that is now near its end. If you are in the market for a medium to large folding knife take a look at the 940-1. The weight, the size, and the steel are all about as good as you can get. Made in the USA, the 940-1 is a pricey knife at $315 retail, but it is worth the cost if you’re a knife fanatic in need of a top-quality blade. Only the pocket clip is ho-hum, but you can contact Benchmade and swap it out for an excellent deep carry, over-the-top design. If you do, the 940-1 will be a great knife for years to come. It’s hard to resharpen, so make sure you have a strop and use it regularly. The S90V blade retains an edge for what seems like decades. The normal 940s run S30V steel, an excellent all-around performer. The aluminum handles are light, but the 940-1’s carbon fiber handle saves even more weight, resulting in a large-ish blade that carries like a Swiss Army Knife or even smaller. The original 940 series knives had aluminum handles and the great Benchmade AXIS lock.
